The secret diary and personal guide to combat that Bruce Lee developed and wrote over many years of practice and study of Jeet Kune Do; for martial arts and combat sports practitioners who face an opponent.

The secret diary and personal guide to combat that Bruce Lee developed and wrote over many years of practice and study.

Jeet Kune Do is a "total" fighting system, constantly evolving, and anyone who fully understands its principles and teachings becomes virtually unbeatable. In Bruce Lee's own definition, Jeet Kune Do can adopt all forms and styles: it uses all techniques useful for its goal, which is solely that of final victory.

The book is richly illustrated by Bruce Lee himself, clearly explaining the actions and movements required. The characteristics, qualities, and personality of the true fighter are outlined from a technical, practical, and psychological perspective. The work will therefore prove invaluable to all those who practice martial arts (from Ju-Jitsu to Judo, from Karate to Kung Fu), or any other combat sport that pits them against an opponent, such as boxing, wrestling, fencing, and the like.

Bruce Lee

(San Francisco 1940 - Hong Kong 1973) in 1953, at the age of 13, he began practicing Wing Chun-style Kung Fu. He seemed so apt at this art that he abandoned his dancing career. From that moment on, a new life began for the young Bruce. Bruce not only studied martial arts, but also learned various philosophical concepts from his master Yip Man, including the philosophy of Buddha, Confucius, Lao Tzu, and the founders of Taoism. In 1959, Bruce returned to San Francisco, where he studied and began teaching Kung Fu. During this period, he won numerous tournaments and attracted the attention of many directors through his performances. In Los Angeles, Bruce Lee began his acting career, starring in the popular television series The Green Hornet, playing the role of Kato. During that period, Bruce also taught Kung Fu to many famous actors. He began publishing his first books on his new art, "Jeet Kune Do." Until then, he had limited himself to writing down his thoughts on martial arts, developing this new style. With his extensive knowledge, he was able to establish and improve upon many techniques he had previously learned. Bruce acted in 25 films and television series. In 1972, in one of his best Kung Fu films, Return of the Dragon, Bruce starred alongside Chuck Norris, Danny Phantom, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He died in Hong Kong on July 20, 1973; the cause of death remains a major mystery.
