Uchi Komi can be performed slowly or at a brisk pace and often concludes with the execution of the full throw, resulting in uke’s fall and an intense Kiai (shout).
The practice of Uchi Komi allows you to study, learn, memorize, refine, train, and seek optimal contact with the aim of mastering the throwing technique. This type of training, with slight variations, is also used to perfect control techniques.
